Received a letter this morning informing me that because I couldnt stick to the Terms and Conditions of the acccount they are closing all of my accounts on August 11th 2006.

Anything I can do about this or shall I just up and leave ! Its rather satisfying knowing they are throwing their toys out of the pram !

So glad I just checked this thread! Have just sent my £10 and SAR to Nationwide yesterday by recorded delivery. I've no idea what I'll be able to claim, if anything. I've been checking the Yorkshire Bank threads though as that's where my main current account is and they seem to be a nightmare to deal with. I was getting quite despondant. This is excellent news re Nationwide and has made me feel more positive!

Can I just confirm the procedure once the claim has been settled ?

I have called the court to let them know I have received payment.

However when I check Money Claim there is still a continue option under judgement. If I click continue I have no option to say the claim has been settled ?

Thanks for any help

I am pretty sure you just leave it - it has been settled on their system if you ring up but as there is no option for cancelling it, I have just left mine. Thing is, it won't do anything like start a judgement if you don't as it is not automated so it should be ok.

Please note that I am not a legal expert and all advice given is without prejudice and is purely my opinion only.
