My wife has 2 accounts with the same branch of HSBC. Both have had charges levied against them. For purposes of claiming, would they be treated as one claim, or can they be treated individually?

Neither account has more than £5k in charges in the last 6 years, but together they do slightly exceed that level. As I understand it, that changes how we would have to claim?

oops Sorry! I didn't think the first attempt had posted. Please could a mod delete this one?

Thanks.

Ha-Ha! Caught you while you weren't looking.:D :D :D

If the total comes to more than £5000 it would be better to do them seperately.... Less complicated, anyway.

Put the claims in one at a time, because if they are seen in the courts simultaniously, the courts will probably link them. Wait until the first is settled, then start again.

If the total is under £5000 then all you need to do is include both account numbers where you would normally give one.

Good luck.
