Hi,

my other half requested a lump sum payment from an old CIS pension he purchased in around 1982. He stopped paying into it when married life took over and since then it has unfortunately being taken over by Royal London.
he initiated the request in April. After a phone call call to chase it up was told they couldn’t verify his bank ( he’s been with for over 20 years) so had to send a statement showing all details which he did straight away.

Still heard nothing so he called again to be then told the signature on his form doesn’t match the one he signed in 1982! Was told a letter was sent but it never was.

Also they now needed ID passport and utility bill.

All sent signed post. They sent copies back two weeks later so he thought all was good but nope they are saying it’s got to be authorised etc. It said on the forms that payment is made at maximum of 7 weeks and that has now passed. I’ve been reading reviews on trustpilot and they are shocking so he’s now worried he’s never going to get it. It’s not huge by all means but will be helpful.

On the last call she said they can open a complaint which he did but he’s fed up of them always finding an excuse for something.
What can he do if they carry this on please?

thank you 😊

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
