Defaulting while living in Asia

Hi, I need some advice please.

 

I have recently defaulted on my Halifax CC for £13K

 

Halifax immediately sold it to Cabot who have emailed me and probably sent a letter to my UK address (parents).

 

NO default notice from Halifax, as far as I know?

 

Should I write to cabot in west malling UK with my address here in Asia, as Ive seen advised in other threads?

 

What if they take me to court and the debt can never be SB?

 

Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.

once you've told cabot you are resident in a foreign  land

totally ignore them

Just tell them the address for correspondence. They will see from the envelope post marks and the address that it is non UK. So not necessary to state foreign.
