Hi, I have loans and o/d with HSBC which seem to have merged, and I'm making a single £2 payment towards MCS for these, last payment Aug 22.

I don't have any latest documentation from HSBC/MCS, but the last known amount is £11,921.

Sending out a SAR seems the right thing to do, and maybe CCA MCS?

Thanks in advance for your time on this!!

Its called a managed loan.

hsbc had a nasty habit of rolling everything into one loan, thwn cancelling it and dumping everything back into your bank account as a mass OD.

type in managed load in our enhanced google search box and get reading up.

who are mcs's client..i suspect the debt has been sold to cabot years ago.

stop paying.

  • Thanks 1

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

So I received this email from HSBC dated 16 Sep 22, they have acknowledged the SAR and something seems to be happening... keeping fingers crossed on this managed loan, approx £12k.

Thanks so much in advance!
