I have told soccer sixes I no longer want to be part of the league due to one of my players being punched no one wants to play anymore.

 

Received a letter threatening legal action etc

That's is what they are designed to do .

 

These supposed 'contract' debts can't and don't appear on credit files and most certainly can't end up in a court . As nice as it would be to expose this violence to a judge 

 

You'll also get scary stuff from some debt collector I expect....a DCA is not a BAILIFF and have ZERO legal powers on ANY debt ..no matter what it's type 

 

Simply block all forms of electronic Comms with them and ignore

As DX says, they will do everything they can to worry you but they'll do nothing that will seriously affect you.

 

Don't worry about their threats but keep us posted on what you receive.

Good morning Lewis,

 

Thank you for your email in regards to your none attendance over recent weeks. 

 

All payments/payment breakdown are available for you to view online at soccersixes.net, just log in to your account and the weekly payments are there from your teams first game on 6th June straight through to when the team stopped attending from 18th July onwards. 

 

I am sorry to hear about the encounters the team faced, but looking through records no contact was made to ensure the league manager was aware of any of these incidents so he would not be able to action anything. 

 

As you are aware, the referees at the venue are just officials on the night. They do not run the league, Lewis Floyd (who I have copied into the email) oversees the league and has not received any communication from yourself. 

 

£161 is required to clear the arrears on your account and then you will have to play/pay the cancellation fees until replaced/end of the season as per terms and conditions. If this is not done by tomorrow then unfortunately we will have to action the further charges as outlined on the letter. 

 

Any questions please do not hesitate to contact your league manager.

Based on my very limited knowledge of Soccer sixes, Everything l know has come from CAG, This seems to be a common problem. 

 

A incident happens at a game, Sometimes more than 1 in the same game or even across several games, and as result the team no longer wants to play as nothing gets done. 

 

Sometime they do complain to the league manager who loses the complaint or even claims to have not go it. Then the league says they owe the money. 

 

Please doe as others have said and dont pay. Stand your ground they dont do anything and even if they did they would need to explain why they have done nothing about this violence at games. 

I hope the person who got Punched is ok.
