Hi, I have been with Stepchange for approx 12 years, and have been getting increasingly concerned over the last couple of years that they are not working in my best interests,  they have another agenda. I put my initial fears down to paranoia, but after reading other peoples posts on here, am starting to think I may have been right all along.

My debts are all over 12 years old, as follows

Cabot Financial - 8k

Hoist - 7k

Hoist - 5k

Link Financial - 4.5k

PRA Group - 3.5k

PRA Group - 1.5k

I would be grateful for any advice on how to deal with these debts moving forward, as I really don't want to continue with Stepchange.

Thanks in advance.

  • dx100uk changed the title to Stepchange 12th Annual Review due - reluctant to continue with them - advice required

cash cowed blind on all you debts from day one.

dump Stepchange.

send each DCA fleecer you've been blindly paying a CCA request.

then after 12+2 days working once they fail to supply any enforceable paperwork ignore them totally.

100's of like threads in this very same forum

go read a good few 10's of them

you soon get the idea!!

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
