Hi,

In December 2020/January 2021 I joined Virgin Media, after a month, for personal issues I had to move houses. I tried really hard to contact anyone from customer service to cancel the contract, however, after long waiting on their queues, no one would answer my calls. I gave up, and I just cancel my debit payment.

Now, after a long time ago, Capital resolve is contacting me every day by email and text messages saying that I must call them (and wait on their long queues) regarding the outstanding "amount" I have to pay due to Virgin Media.

I already tried to call Capital resolve multiple times, however, as with Virgin Media, I get no response even after straying 40 minutes on the queue. I am not sure if there is anything I can do (I am working 9 to 5, and I have no time to stay for more than 1h on their queues).

I could maybe afford to pay the debt depending on the amount, however, I wonder if there is anything I could do to solve the problem without having to do the payment.

Many thanks,

Rexpo

a DCA is NOT A BAILIFF

and have

ZERO legal powers on any debt - no matter what it's type.

ignore them

block all calls

report texts to spam 7726.

and NEVER EVER ring a DCA...they LIE.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
