Hi I purchased a mobile 5g mobile from wish and the phone exploded in my hand and I sent the phone back via parcel shop and the company what picked the item up was Hermes I got a card saying it was a recepit  I contacted hermes about the delay in order they told me that the parcel was lost at the national sorting and I contacted the retailer and they told me they couldn't give me a refund has Hermes has lost my my parcel and know Hermes isn't taking responsibility for this issue so what I do to get a refund of these jokers

On whose advice did you take it to the parcel shop and send it via Hermes? Was it the seller of the phone or was this a decision you made yourself?

Well if they paid for it, then it seems that the contract is between the retailer and hermes - so hermes losing the package is the retailer's problem. If I were you, I'd email the retailer stating the above, including a picture of the receipt, demanding a refund within 14 days and otherwise threatening to pursue more formal action.

Sorry, I see that we haven't followed up on this thread. I think it may be because it was posted on the wrong forum.

I've now moved it to the correct forum and hopefully you will engage with us to sort the problem out and to get you the reimbursement for your lost telephone.

It was Hermes which lost the phone, but on the other hand it was defective and so far as I understand it, the retailer organised the return of the phone. If that's the case then the retailer is responsible and depending on who they are, it might be easier to proceed against them rather than Hermes – although both are available as targets.

Please would you give us more information about the retailer, how the return was organised, the value of the phone, and any other details.

We will help you all the way if you stick with us.
