I've only just joined so I don't want to seem presumptious - anyone else here find it hilarious the adverts that infect this site once you "whitelist" and turn adblocker off are the exact same things that everyone's moaning about?

Problematic, much?

Is it just me?

you already know the answer....

we have no control over them nor their context.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

I know absolutely nothing about adverts on websites (and I know only a little more about the internet generally) but aren't the ads you see "prompted" by what you have recently been browsing?  I was recently looking at some trail running shoes and I'm now finding I can't escape adverts for Innov8 and ASICS shoes from retailers I wouldn't touch with a bargepole!  The adverts even follow me onto different websites and browsers.

I too find it ironic that CAG may have adverts for DCAs etc, but I think it's a good irony and not a bad one.  If CAG needs the funding from advertising to survive, let DCAs etc provide it!
