Hello.

I live in a private house share with 8 other people, we all have our own studio's but all share a single hallway and entrance.

One of the tenants has been obsesivly putting up notes directing comments to the other tenants (at least once per week),

they are usally complaints

sometimes threats to inform the landlord about breaking house rules.

Myself and at least one other Tennant have had notes put under our doors.

It has become very uncomfortable living in the house and we feel we are being dominated by what appears to be Someone struggelling with Obsessive Compulsive Dissorder. The contents of the notes is not especially abusive but it is controlling and territorial behaviour and it is making many of us uncomfortable.

I have asked my landlord if she will make it a house rule that (notes should not be put up by tennants) and any complaints should be made directly to her but although she agrees when approached she won't take any action.

What should we do?

pin the notes the otherway around on the notice board

add the private notes there too.

they'll give up eventually when they realise they are being ignored.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

well why not engage with them and try and befriend them?, these might well be a cry for help...or a strangeway to try and be more friendly themselves as the fell isolated and lonely..

I've already tried but we don't get along...It's not a cry for help as I far as I can make out, it's a need to control and they are very dominating and quite aggressive or rather this tenant is.

if you are being threatened or feel threatened by the aggressive behaviour of the tenant over anything or in anyway/matter .. call the police 101.

else ignore them.
