AIC and Amex Card Debt Scotland

Received this from AIC with regards to the American Express account, see attached. 

The offer is 50%.

 

I've still not received back the CCA, can they still pursue the debt while awaiting the CCA?

AIC as with Moorcroft, as with wetcloths, don't buy debts just chase.

 

so have even less legal powers than a dca/debt buyer that owns a debt - and that's ZERO anyway.

Received this from Amex today and they haven't even provided the CCA request although it was Allied International Credit (UK) Ltd that I sent the request to.

 

Should I resend the request for the CCA or what?

next time if a DCA letter says 'our client'

you send the CCA to their client.

Should I now send a CCA request to Amex and inform First Source I have done this.

if you don't think your cca to amex got thru from aic

then yes send amex a cca request.

 

but pers I wouldn't bother....
