And so it begins again!!!

I moved back to the UK in 2018, and had a battle with credit corp, it all got a bit much for me and paid the debt...

I received an email this morning from the one and only credit corp stating they had another debt of mine,

I want to know what the grounds are for me to not pay the debt its $6000...

unfortunately I'm a single mum barely scraping by,

I'm an honest person and usually pay my debts off but this one I'm just keeping my head above water....

I emailed them back and have denied that I had another credit card and paid off the one that I had with them and also asked them if they had the right person...

so I'm waiting for a response but I'm really unaware of what I need to be doing?

Please help

Ignore them for now.

Make all social media private, as they will attempt to harass you via Facebook, LinkedIn etc.

Eventually, they might pass to UK Solicitors acting as debt collectors. If you are contacted by UK Solicitors in the future, give no information, other than confirm name and address.. Just ask them to supply more information.

We could do with some help from you.

not blindly paying a debt you had no need to pay.

that is why they have comeback on you.

they fleeced you blind and cash cowed you on the last one, so think you'll be a mug again and allow yourself to be cash cowed with this one.

the original creditor saw none of that money you paid credit corp

but I bet they had a nice party on your free money you gave them.

throw the morality card out the window...they do!!

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Yes I realise that I shouldn't have paid them but the hounding got so bad.....

they have responded by sending notice of assignment and saying they have

a snap shot of the credit file

also name dob employer details and address

and been trying to contact me via phone no which is Australian

I don't think they know I'm in England but they probably will find out, so the best thing I to ignore them?

how long ago did you settle this other debt to them?

and this notice of assignment.....

is this from a creditcorps English address on their letter head?

detailing that the original creditor has sold them this other debt?

and you say they have copied your UK credit file?

they never could in the 1st place.

Simply send them one further email stating.

your current and correct address.

stating that any further emails to xxxx from xxx will be blocked and bounced back unread and that all further communication needs to be sent by royal mail letter only.
