Won FOS Complaint but Barclays not complying

Write to the court and respectfully ask them to dismiss the set aside application as there is no reason to accept it. Tell them you never got any letters instructing you to send the claim to their solicitors and this Barclays Bank UK PLC is false. ( Send proof if you have it)

Yes, it seems to have stopped very abruptly – and I would love to know as well. It makes me wonder whether Barclays hasn't managed to do some deal under conditions of confidence.

A great shame that the OP won't even let me know privately.

Quite rude. Oh well, one day I'll find my 1986 Barclaycard statements and take us all out for a slap up meal when I reclaim my £5 charges and 34 years of unlawfully applied compounded interest!

I'm not sure that it's rude – it has happened before and am afraid that people can become quite dominated by the banks or other large corporations – and at the end of the day this forum exists to help people help themselves and get the best for themselves.

It would have been nice to know what happened – and of course my suggestion above that a deal had been made is pure speculation. Maybe the whole thing just became too much to bear.

However, if it is a question of domination by the then really it is just another variation of – financial abuse – and the banks do this routinely.
