Shop lifting and banning - TKMax

Hi, sorry if this been asked before, but I need help.

 

10 years ago me and my friend (not friend anymore) went shopping to tkmax,

when we left the store we have been stopped by two security officers and asked to come back to the store,

 

I was really confused of why they asked as to come back,

finally they search us and they found pair of shoes in my friends bag,

I told them I didn’t know anything about it (I didn’t ),

they told me doesn’t matter you are both banned from all tkmax stores and you will have to pay a fine,

we paid fine and are no longer friends for what she did,

 

2 days ago I was walking pass that store and I saw my old friend that I haven’t seen for a long time ,

so thought I am gonna go say to her hello ( completely forgot about incident),

I walked in and said hello to my friend when suddenly remembered I am not supposed to be there,

 

then I saw one of the stuff member calling manager and manager calling security,

I quickly left the store, if they recognise me will I be in trouble now,

 

I am really worried about it and I am scared to go to work as I work 2 doors down in different store now and I am scared that my store finds out about it and I will loose my job, tkmax stuff knows that I work there .

 

it was long time ago I got husband and kids now and worried that this will ruin my life .

Can they tell my security guard or my store manager about it?

Can they report me to police .

And can I appeal for what happened as I haven’t done anything wrong and it has ruined my life.

1st it wasn't a fine and you should never had paid RLP.

My husband said the same , but I was only 19 and didn’t know anything, but now I am worried if tkmax security guard will pass this information to my security guard, can he do that ? And can I get done for trespassing.sorry for questions but I am really worried and scared to go to work on Tuesday in case everyone knows about it .

they forgot about it 6 seconds after it happened.

 

the issue really is you were told it was a serious things etc

to boost the go of the guard.

 

they had no legal right to tell you it was a fine

and to pay the fine ..which it WASNT!!

 

all you did was give rlp free money to go down the pub that night.

 

they had

zero legal powers

zero legal recourse against you

and Tkmaxx never even saw a penny of that money..
