Hi

I have just received  a letter dated 10/06.2019 from Robinson Way to my current address wanting  me to contact them back. They show a previous address  that I lived in almost fifteen years ago.  I have no open or closed accounts in my credit  file going back that far!

They say if I am not the named person in the letter that I should contact them so they can update their records?

Why would they be contacting me?  it cannot be for a debt? I don't wish to contact them yet if it means I refresh statute barred debts!

Look forward to your response.

you cant reset SB if 6yrs have gone.

though you have 2 outstanding CCJ's still?

look at the ref number  they use

does that match any old ref numbers on your old debts..of which I see you have plenty

moved to the DCA forum.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

well use those and check old debts.

I would guess after all this time that it will be a sold on debt

so rway will be chasing for their parent company hoist.

were any of you old debts with them?

might be a starting point

i'd not risk it myself

for the sake of a 1st class stamp

send them our SB letter

with a copy of their letter attached.

that'll confuse them

but atleast they'll have your correspondence address just in case.

they are looking for someone with a similar name to you and have done an electoral roll search and picked out all of the likley name and initial combos. peopel generally dot move too far when they move house so it is likely that everyone in the county with your surname and similar initials got the same letter.

They hope someone will recognise it and enter into correspondence. now sending a SB letter will confuse them and that is no bad thing in itself
