Just a thought to Dave and Bankfodder. Would I be right in thinking that the best way forward as far as future banking would be to open a current account with the post office. Surly if they imposed charges it would be the Government itself who are breaking the law. And mmm what fun would we have then :twisted:

After looking at the website it says they are still 'wholly owned by the government'. I'll get a copy of the terms and conditions tomorrow.
