Hi Guys it must be my lucky week, they have settled on my other account oh my god £4,100 total £7,100 on both accounts this has taken only 4 weeks, do you thinkg they are realising now that it useless going all the way becuase they have to pay up in the end, has anyone else's account been settled so quickly.

Nope Suzi this is definitely very unusual for Rbs.

In fact its extremely rare.

There are obviously reasons for this which only Cobbetts and the bank will know about.

All the same......a great result well done !!

Thanks Martin, BUT a hiccup has occured, need advice on the following

 

I only learnt yesterday that my accounts are still open and that the monies HAVE to be paid into these accounts. One of the accounts is £1200 still outstanding, this is purley charges, they said that the monies will clear this account, BUT I have just been on the phone to Credit Management (not helpful I tell you) and they have not me that I not be able to access my accounts until these monies have been cleared. This debt was sent to Westcot Debit Collections and they have offered me a deal to settle for £900, BUT I cannot get access to my money as when it goes into my account they will automatically take £1200 out.

 

Sorry this is a bit confusing but I have steam coming out of my ears at the moment. The Liverpool Branch are a joke, they just dont want to know.
