HI,

I am wondering if you could offer any advice regarding my faulthy GHD's that are about 2 1/2 years old

Whilst using them the GHD’s overheated, made a fizzing sound and burnt my hair.

Obviously, there is a safety issue with them overheating and burning my hair.

It took a good chuck of hair that ended up stuck to the plates.

In terms of what can be done with regards getting in touch wtih GHD,

what hints / tips do you have?

I have seen a fair few reports on the internet about the ghd's overheating.

Hi

Not sure if you are aware but in the recent past (and probably still ongoing) there have been fake GHD hair straighteners. If you bought them from a marketplace seller, Amazon will direct you to them.

If you are asked to deal with any matter via private message, PLEASE report it.

Everything I say is opinion only. If you are unsure on any comment made, you should see a qualified solicitor

GHD themselves are normally quite good company to deal with

Get in touch with your supplier first and see what they say then get in touch with GHD themselves

I would agree with you. When I return something to the manufacturer I usually can find out what exactly went wrong. With the retailer they usually just refund or replace the item and that is the end of it.
