MMF is a debt buyer

the debt in all terms to do with the OC is gone

they have written it off against tax

and sold it on.

the three letter process is simply a waste of time

in hold no legal standing whatsoever

and if you have a quick read around

you'll see you'll never get to see the deed of assignment anyway.

all you do is simply let the DCA know they've found a muppet worth chasing

if start using those silly letters.

as with all dca's its much better to simply ignore them.

don't forget they are NOT BAILIFFS

and have

NO SUCH LEGAL powers

why respond at all to a phishing attempt??

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

Hmmm It's all a learning curve to me

But thanks to everyone who's chipped in as this forum seems to be the most active and current from the others :)

So what is the best way to complain to Swift Sterling for irresponsible lending?

As I doubt they even did a credit search on me before issuing me with the loan, I can't remember the what I did in order to give me the loan to be honest.

First of all you need to get some information from Swift sterling,

you can ask them for a complete history of your account with loans taken, interest added, charges and dates.

They gave me what I asked for, but I was specific in what I wanted.

The email address I used to get the information was complaints@swiftsterling.co.uk

If they dont give it all to you you will have to SAR them which will cost £10

When you have all the information you can then see if you can make a complaint.

  • 1 month later...

I've had a similar issue.

Swift sterling have had restrictions imposed on there licence they are no longer issuing loans.

All loans have been sold to MMF.

After speaking with swift sterling via live chat I have been advised to email

Complaints@swiftsterning.co. uk

I've had to put a space to allow email to be posted.

It appears they are writing off loans should people contact them directly.

I'll update once I have an email reply from then. Good luck with yours
