I’m looking to purchase a used vehicle past manufacture warranty in the near future;

some dealers offer various types of aftermarket warranties.

Reading about feedback purchasers experienced from these warranties,

it seems they are not worth the paper it’s written on.

It seems most claim handlers seem to wriggle out with the term “wear and tear”.

My question is,

are these regulated and referred to an independent adjudicator if things do go wrong if purchased one?

Thanks

theres no-one to got to as such- warranties are a waste of money on any thing and always have been

either

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1994/35/crossheading/provisions-relating-to-the-united-kingdom?view=plain

should cover you unless its a private person to person sale.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

also it might be worthy to note

that if you pay for more than £100 of the purchase using Credit card

then they are equally responsible under section 75

also, if you purchase on finance

the finance company are equally responsible too
