Billy oh summer house poor quality

Hi

Not sure if this is the right problem. We purchased a summer house just under 2 years ago direct from kobotech. It's described as a heavy duty and built to last. It's classed as there ultimate range.

 

But the roof supports don't seem strong enough to support the roof and over this time the roof as sagged and has basically pushed the sides out. This cost me over 1400. I know it's past the 12 months. But I've emailed them and they just don't care. I want to know how to go about trying for one, unsatisfactory quality and also the fact that the website states heavy duty etc, when it clearly isn't.

 

Can someone please help me with an angle where I ca either get the parts that are failing replaced, or get them to do something. If we have any snow I'm sure the roof will collapse.

Only communicate with the company in writing, so you have a paper trail. Send all letters Recorded Delivery.

 

The Goods and Services Act 1982 applies.

Do they belong to any associations / trade bodies? How did they pay?

Thanks will take a look, no don't think they are with any bodies! They own loads of sites like garden buildings direct etc. I think we may have paid with a credit card if not then debit card. Thanks

If you've paid with a Credit Card, then you have a claim against your Credit Card company, a Section 75 claim.
