Hello,

I have been on this forum for over an hour and so far, unsuccessful in finding a 'letter of authority template'. There's a good chance you don't actually have an example here, but I thought I double check by asking.

I have been ill recently and I now want a friend to be in position to deal with a creditor on my behalf.

Many thanks

Thank you -This was helpful but at the same time, if there was a template, or example I could study this would be helpful too.

Much appreciated

I hereby authorise:

[Nominee name] of

to act on my behalf in all dealings with your company as of the above date.

This authorisation will be ongoing until countermanded by me. Please ensure that all correspondence is directed to [Nominee]

With any letter of authorisation, you have to sign it. I suggest you do so but add a little flourish so that it is positively identifiable should that signature appear on any other document.

Add anything you want inside the square brackets and remove the brackets as well
