Hi all,

First of all I want to say that I think it is awful how you all have been treated and ripped off by this company. I hope you all get resolution soon.

Thankfully for me I have read through your posts and have decided to stay a million miles away form these people. I was not 100% sure because of the costs because they seem to double the cash price but now I feel I have had a lucky escape.

I am quite impatient and we need a new 3 piece so I was seriously considering it but now we will save for a year and then buy from another store.

I hope you all sort these buggers out and get your money back and force them to treat you like human beings instead of account numbers.

Good luck x

Also remember that the base cost of an item is 2 - 3x the price that it is anywhere else. THEN they throw charges/interest/insurances on top of it.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

If my advice helps you, click the star icon at the bottom of my post and feel free to say thanks

Why not look for a Credit Union in your area.. you can save with them for a while and then you might be able to take out a loan with very low interest rates.

I absolutely will never consider these people or the other ones after reading posts on here, I feel like we have had a lucky escape. I was put of by the amount the items were with all the interest added, I hadn't even considered their insurance cover etc.

I will look into the credit union because I want to start saving each month again like I used to but I don't trust the banks, so a credit union would be a brilliant choice plus it helps other people who have not got excellent credit scores (like I haven't).

Hello there.

I'm pleased that we've helped you. Here's a link to a forum stikky about credit unions. It includes a link to a website that helps you find your nearest one. I think they're a great idea, but then I wrote the stikky so I would say that. :)

I joined one last month! :-D Best thing i ever did.

Hi Marcus,

Was it very easy to join? I have managed to find a local credit union that looks very interesting. I am only really interested in the savings side at the moment and I want to keep away from regular banks. I really like how the money people save is used to fund low cost loans for people. If we can keep money away from the immoral practices of the banks then I see that as a victory for the normal man in the street :-)

Kind regards

Me

Take a look at the below;

Price At Brighthouse

I recently went in to do some secret shopping and they REFUSED to give me any terms and conditions for the 5 star service or any other terms for that matter so I could make an informed decision as a customer to join them (I wasnt really but it goes to show what they do to hide away there dirty deeds)

We could do with some help from you.
