Hi, i have just found this thread about QuickQuid as i was searching for information about them for my daughter.

She has just discovered that QuickQuid are taking money from her bank account(2 payments in Dec and 1 in Jan ) even though she has never had a loan from them and has no idea how they are able to do this. The loan that was taken must have been paid into a third party bank account because it definitely wasn't paid into her one.

When she discovered that QuickQuid were taking money from her account, she informed her bank, who told her that she would have to get in touch with QuickQuid herself as there was nothing they could do until she spoke to them and the police. She came straight home and phoned QuickQuid(this was on Thursday 30th Jan 2014) and was put through to someone in an office in America, they told her that they would close down the account so no more money would be taken from her Bank, investigate the matter and get back to her, she phoned the police told them what was happening, they also told her that they would get back to her on Friday the 31st Jan, she didn't hear from QuickQuid or the police on Friday or over the weekend, she went to check her bank account on Monday morning only to find that QuickQuid had another payment pending, she went back to her bank, stressed and in tears asking how this could happen and what the bank were going to do about it as someone was obviously using her details without her knowledge, the bank told her that they would reimburse her payment for Feb and that there Fraud Investigation Team would look into it and that they would her account for anymore suspicious activity.

If anyone else has suffered the same experiance and can offer some advice on this matter it would be very gratefully appreciated. Thanks

Go to your bank and tell them to issue immediate chargebacks, and also block any and all transactions to them. Also, contact actionfraud, get a crime number and give the bank the info so the bank are forced to listen.

Then contact the regulators and inform them.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

If my advice helps you, click the star icon at the bottom of my post and feel free to say thanks
