They cut through a ligament under local anaesthetic in order to release the pressure on the nerve.

They give you good meds so any anxiety is gone.

Any advice i give is my own and is based solely on personal experience. If in any doubt about a situation , please contact a certified legal representative or debt counsellor..

I've had my op. The worst thing was the local anaesthetic, but the op was very quick. The LA wore off at 7pm last night and by fudge it hurts.

Did they give you decent meds? It will only hurt for a day or so, then it will be a dull throbbing pain.

It shouldn't be too long before the pain wears off or becomes more bearable at least. If it is really bad, then I suggest you ask your GP for something to take the edge off.

Im a fan of codeine and ibuprofen. Especially when my tendonitis flares up. Paracetamol pretty much does nothing to me.
