Hi,

The Consumer Wiki article was last updated in 2007. Before the OFT test case.

This article from This is Money was written in 2012, after the OFT test case, but a cagger commented on the article and said that even it was out-of-date.

Could somebody point me in the right direction? I know cases of hardship can help. I lost my job on 20th May. Can I reclaim charges for the last few years, even though I was only just made unemployed?

Mainly I'm looking to reclaim fees for failed direct debits.

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
