Just received SAR statements in the post.

 

Only last 5 years though not 6.

 

Any advice on correct way to go about having the missing year 2000 copies.

 

Apart from that they were on time,

 

i think, and nice letter enclosed ect.

Just rang ltsb-sending missing statements asap-have added up so far in excess of £1000.00 in charges

Am going to add up all the charges (looks like around 1200.00 ) and send lba today or tomorrow.Have now got another account set up.Anyone know if the Natwest step account can automatically transfer all my present direct dedits from lloyds or do i have to cancel the whole lot and set them up at new account - will take hours !!!!!!!

When I opened a Natwest Step account they sorted all of that at their end, I think it was on the application form about it.

Have finally got around to adding up charges-overdraft excess fees,returned direct debits and unpaid cheques.

 

Have printed off letter claiming total of 1214 which was actually 1389.

 

Have deducted 175 as they paid me a 175 following a telephone complaint re charges last month !

 

i know i need to include a schedule of these charges.

 

Should i print my own or use a spreadsheet/template from here.

 

I have looked at a few and am not very good on the computer !

 

The one i downloaded worked out the 8% apr which i dont think i need to claim right now ? J

 

ust need something really basic and i cant find it anywhere.

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

 

Also the address i am sending it to is the 25 Gresham Street in London-am sure i sent my DPA request to a Birmingham address

Have just finally got around to printing off my schedule of charges-£1641.50 without the 8% interest !

 

before i go post it registered i recieved £175.00 last year when i complained about a particular stream of bank charges that month.

 

Should i

- just put in the prelim letter at the bottom where i say that

"i calculate that you have taken £1641.50 minus £175 refund last year ",

or would i be highlighting a potential issue ?

 

Whats the best way to go about it ?

If you received a refund of £175 charges in one month then remove the charges that were refunded from your schedule.

I think I'm getting a bit confused. I thought tht you hadn't sent off your prelim yet. If that's the case then there's no need to include the charegs that they refunded as it's as though they were never taken.

Received standard bog off letter a coup[le of days ago following initial request.

 

Have typed out my LBA now with another copy of charges.

 

I sent first letters to Birmingham address but received a reply from recovery in Hamshire.

 

Shoul i send my lba to birm,Hamp or both ?

Sent prelim letter and received standard bog off letter a couple of days ago from Hampshire Recovery.

Do i send my lba and 2 copy of charges (£1706.50 w/o interest ) to Hampshire or Birmingham again.

I'd send it to the Hampshire address if that's where the reply came from.

Have already jumped ship to another account.

Had a 1200.00 od limit on lloyds account but when they put charges on for this and last month has escalated big time..

I received a very threatening letter this morning asking for £480 back or they would default me.

The thing is it is all ONLY bank charges !

If i sent a cheque in they obviously wouldn`t honour it but how come they can honour there own charges to this amount !

I have`nt got a spare £480 and it really is ALL charges !

I am claiming £1700 or a bit more but will obviously be adding this lot as well.

I am worried now that i have got myself into major trouble.

Any advice most welcome

Try not to worry too much - they're trying to bully you. Its a common LTSB tactic and if you stand up to them you'll find that they back off.
