After lots of discussion my husband has decided we pay Very from our savings,

I got trapped into a call from their debt dpartment who gave me the number of their insurance

so I could ask about claiming back the insurance and late payment charges.

the guy was very rude and said why did I think I had the right to claim the money back and if I read my terms and conditions properly

I would see I had agree to the insurance and also it clearly states they charge £12 admin fees for every late payment.

I said once they worked out how much insurance etc I have paid over 15 years

then I would pay the remainder after that was taken off my account.

I didnt think they were helpful at all and the guy actually hung up on me.

That sounds like Shop Direct, the way they operate is pathetic,

they have never left kindergarten stage of schooling,

they try to make out that the Dormant Company Nationwide debt recovery ltd is an outside firm ,

no it is Shop directs debt collection desk,

the fees are recoverable including the £12 telephone call they make to you

so put all on a spreadsheet and use the 39.70% interest rate and see what comes out a

= a very large refund you have to fight for,

if you do not have all the statement send £10.00 postal order for a SAR request

and get the charges off that info.

do not be drawn into their web of deceit.

I just amended titles to read what ever the PPI referred to, the man would be rude that is their way of treating their customers, you are not alone on that one, get your claim in for PPI soonest, make sure you have a valid reason to reclaim though? FSA site has a spreadsheet to use you just enter % rate 39.70 etc

Need help drowning,

I tried printing of the form but it didnt come out complete on A4 ?

When it comes to the section saying claim calculation

I understand total charges as the total of all the admin charges of £12 incurred and the same for the PPI

What is compound interest box for and how do I fill it in.

Also on part which says personal details there is a part interest rate APR what goes there.

I have totted up both charges and its a lot specially the PPI.

Need simplified step by step help please. Think I may have printed off wrong form, confused.
