Hi

could anyone shed any light on this problem.

I upgraded my account from a flex to flex direct account in december.

I checked my account today to find nationwide had transferred £168 from my account to a sundries account leaving me overdrawn and unable to feed my family.

Strangely this adds up to the same amount that should have been taken as direct debits on the 1st of january.

But did not show up in my account as being paid and I had bot cancelled them.

Do they have the right to do this and leave me overdrawn and what can I do?

Any charges you have incurred because of this should be covered by them, it is probably an oversight, it would be worth going into the bank and getting their view on it first.

Who ever heard of someone getting a job at the Jobcentre? The unemployed are sent there as penance for their sins, not to help them find work!

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...

  • 4 months later...

This BCOBS thing worries me, As just say one person gets £100 charges in a month, every month for 8 months thats £800 worth of charges, Is this unfair if the bank then says, well we treat every customer the same therfor its not unfair
