Hi

I have no idea if i was ever sold PPI but i would like to find out.

How is this done,

i've had a quick look on the site but i've not found anywhere that shows a simple guide for what to do first.

I would imagine there is one and that i'm probably blind.

If there is,

please can someone provide me with a link.

I assume the first step is to write to my current and former mortgage providers and ask them if i had PPI on the mortgages.

I've only ever had one credit card about 20 years ago and i've never had a loan so it's just the mortgage that i'm bothered about really.

Thanks

More senior people will come shortly. I understand what you are saying, I am just starting my claim too, this site has a lot of information but you can be easily lost and overwhelmed.

I think first step is to ask for your information that they hold on you by asking for full SAR, and then take it from there, there is a sticky in this section titled Full SAR FOR PPI

there you go , everyne helping

thats whats cag's about!

if you dont have your morrtgage documents [ you should have if you're still paying it]

demands & needs sheet should be the one you want to look at.

look for PPI or life or medical etc

the only insurance you must have with a mortgage is buildings

[unless you already had that]

the rest , inc PPI, is not compulsory & the rep would have gotten a health commoission

for selling them.

SAR is the key if you dont have the docs.

the black SAR takes you there

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
