How do I add colour to my posts please?

I used to know how to do it but have forgotten over time as I haven't had cause to use it. I have tried looking for it on site

including Bookworm's excellent post http://www.consumeractiongroup.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?107001-quot-How-do-I...-quot-A-Dummies-Guide-to-this-Forum

I know it requires the use of "color" within parentheses at the beginning and end of the statement, but I cannot remember what the magic words

are. Or perhaps some one could kindly tell me where to find it on the site.

There's a button that will colour your text for you. It is next to the font size selector and is a capital A with a coloured bar underneath it.

 

Select the text you wish to colour then click that button and select the colour you want to use. The relevant tags will be entered for you.

 

Example - this is in purple

If you quote your own message you will see the tags that live behind the button.

 

Far easier to hit the button than remember the tags and format though, IMO.
