Hi all,

 

I have just received this email from Avon and Somerset Constabulary. I know us Caggers know the pitfalls of using a company to reclaim PPI, but thought this would be beneficial to people who are searching Cag looking for help with claiming through a company.

This info has been copied from the Avon and Somerset Constabulary website, but is possibly happening all over the country. If you feel you have been a victim of this you should contact your local police authority.

I have made some edits in your post. Please do not try to over ride the filters by spacing out the word !! The filters are there for a reason.. it protects CAG.. !!

 

If you are going to quote from any website, you MUST provide the link from where you have taken the quote

Hi DX,

 

I know that, You know that, I just thought that people who might stumble across CAG, whilst researching PPI (and thinking a company has to do it for them) will know that not only are the reclaim companies a rip off, but there are rip offs, ripping them off!!!

 

Hence my comment that you quoted! I had no intention of suggesting CAG was recommending using a claim company.

The rule is that you can quote sections as "teasers", but need to provide a link in order to credit the original posting - in this case the Police website. I think it also has something to do with copyrights
