Hello,

Apologies for opening a new thread, I have posted at length in Natwest forum before

But now I would like to know when there is a default on a joint account due to unauthorised overdraft, if successfully claiming PPI on a credit card with the same bank is a just arguement against filing the default in first place, i.e. does it matter that the accounts are different if the creditor is the same?

Obviously the PPI claim followed the default.

Thank you,

Helen

No, the bank could offset the refund to cover the overdraft.

Any Letters I Draft are N0T approved by CAG and no personal liability is accepted.
