Associates/Citicard holders -did you pay CPP card protection Insurance ?

Here is another media article which appeared recently.

Its quite disturbing to see that CPP have continued these practices even after they were first questioned.

My request to CPP has seen them say that it is Citi and not them I need to claim off.

They say that my agreement was with Citi,and that they only recieved details from them.

Those with old Citicard accounts will know,that these charges were taken monthly.

I have now had a reply from Citi and they have enclosed the 8 page ombudsman questionaire.

I had CPP back to when it was People's Bank. I submitted a claim to Citibank, who held on to it for 16 weeks, when I wrote and demanded to know what was going on, they sent me the FOS questionnaire etc... back to me and told me to contact Opus.

 

I sent everything off to Opus, who then sent me back a letter asking me to fill out an FOS questionnaire!! I wrote back to them explaining that I had already filled one out which they have received and I fail to see why I have been sent another one. I've had no reply to this, this was around a month ago.

 

Any further news yet ?

I think you need a thread sorting in the CPP forum,as do others.

We can then monitor our progress better.

Will sort that out for you.
