Did you assume (or was you told) that you would not get anything unless you signed this waiver?

i was told that it would delay my applicatiion if i didnt sign it and yes I did get the impression that the loan could be rejected

In 2010 NW combined both my Secured loan and my overdraft into one account despite trying to obtain a breakdown of interest on each account they said they were unaible to do this

as they were now one account.

I have now settled off the loan element paying I believe the total amount payable £18000 (£15000 LOAN PLUS £3000 INTEREST) Overdraft was £5000 but this went over the limit due to charges When I enquired about an early settlement rebate, they said that it did not qualify as there is still an outstanding balance?

I have requested a SAR on the 16th August they received and signed for it on the 20th, however to date I have not heard anything from them and they have not cashed the cheque in respect of the fee

Its not unusual for the cheque to remain uncashed.

Main thing is that you have sent the payment and have proof they have got it.

Clock starts ticking from then.
