They required persuading, but Lancaster City Council's results are in (updated in previous post) with a 208 score for 1 removal.

News from the Information Rights Tribunal gives a positive sign that North East Lincs refusal on costs grounds may have been unfounded. Perhaps a surprise decision at some point means they'll accompany the other results.

Of course wouldn't have a clue why this Council are being so stroppy over it - I mean it's not as if they don't know of you.

I know where you're coming from, but wouldn't it have just been easier for everyone if before the council appointed its management crew, they bothered to look up the meaning of "honesty"?

Jacobs are extremely bad for Head H Fees!

I think they pre load them to every account, and they do a nice line in clamping, and removal of third party vehicles.

We could do with some help from you.

This of course is only the redemption charge. There's more here, which should make the Head H, look like a drop in the ocean. Harrow allows a £235 fee for a single attendance – the subject of Newlyn behaving badly.

Two more results to add to total:

Breckland District Council (Rossendales)

Figure submitted:
464
| Goods removed: 1

Colchester Borough Council (Jacobs/Rossendales)

(Jacobs 1,517) (Rossendales 484) | (0) (2)

The figure now stands from sample (so far) 5,239 head H fees imposed in relation to cases where goods had been removed on 16 occasions.

EDIT:

Lincoln City Council has an agreement with its bailiff contractor, Rossendales, not to apply the Head H fee joining Brighton & Hove to make up the two authorities discovered so far that do not contribute to the score.

outlawla have you done any welsh councils if not could you tell me how to do a freedom of information request for Wrexham council and what I write and ask for please

Not seen one for Wrexham.

There seems to be a couple of versions, but this one looks like it covers more info.

"
Relating to schedule 5 of the Council Tax (Administration and Enforcement) Regulations 1992, commencing 2009/10 to date and categorised by year please supply;

a) the bailiff firm contracted to [COUNCIL] for Council Tax enforcement.

b) the number of [COUNCIL] residents who have incurred the Header H fee, as a result of the council or its agents enforcing council tax debt?

c) the number of council tax cases [COUNCIL] referred to bailiff:

i – to levy distress?

ii – where goods were removed?

Over a quarter of a £million isn't bad for the fraction of councils and short time period.

This all brings North East Lincs Council's honesty into question though.

A lie detector is needed.

(Electrodes attached)

Q. Will it or will it not cost in excess of £40k to supply these details?

Seat CEO of NELC, in chair strap him down, attach electrodes from field telephone, ask question CEO swears it is so would cost £40k to provide info, wind handle, ask again.
