Enclose a blank £1.00 postal order with your reference number on the back. They then have 12 days to comply.

 

 

So not ignore any further letters from their Solicitor they may issue summons and try for a default CCJ (undefended)

 

 

Or/AND you can SAR the original creditor a £10-00 fee is payable for this if you do not have all of your documents this will also/should include your credit agreement as well.

So a company acting on behalf of a company who is acting on behalf of another? I'd be tempted to ignore them.

Also start to keep all the incoming correspondence as well

Shoosmiths are a genuine solicitor ( although with a collection department ) and I wouldn't ignore them. If there is no good CCA they will opt out and hand it back to Cabot.
