My laptop was sent off for repair on 17 June 2011 which I have had since Oct 2008 so not that old really.

Received a text from them on 24th June 2011 to indicate that it would arrive to me on 27th June 2011.

I waited in all day to find out that it had not arrived. I contacted somebody to find out where it was just after 6pm and after a few questions they indicated to me that they would find out and call me back in the next 10 minutes. This was at 6.20pm

This did not happen and at 6.55pm I called them back to be told at this time that the delivery had been cancelled to me. They tried getting in touch with the hub but with it being late in the evening they thought that they had gone home.

Contacted again at 9am today, 28th June 2011 to be informed that they could not get in touch with the hub and they would try and then get back in touch within 2 hours.

This time came and went and nothing happened so I contacted them once again and was told this time that the delivery was cancelled because there were an extra 3 digits on my phone number, what a lame excuse I thought.

I am now waiting in all day tomorrow to see if the laptop will turn up once again. Have no idea when it will arrive in the day but its just a wait and see.

Have sent a letter of complaint already and will see what they say.

Yes,well we are in times where they are going to have to get their act together.

With so many businesses going to the wall-we are going to see peoples buying habits change.

Customer service and aftersales will be featuring high on the list....and no longer in a climate where people are counting their pennies, will firms be able to get away with avoiding their responsibilities when things go wrong.
