Well done so far.

Next step is to send them a preliminary letter (asking for it back ) which you will find in the bank temps folder....see link at bottom of this post.

You will need to do a spreadsheet or schedule of charges that you wish to claim listing these by oldest date/reason for charge/amount.

Do NOT include the 8% interest until filing for court.

You will find details of the spreadsheet also in the bank temps folder.

If you need further help feel free to ask.

Keep reading around the forums and gain as much knowledge as you can so you are prepared for every stage.

Also ensure that you keep note of the dates when you send out all your letters so that if they don't respond within the time scale YOU set them you can proceed to your next stage without delay and show you mean business by being on the ball ;-)

Regards, OD

thanks been quite straight forward so far but can see it getting a bit trickier (if thats a word)!! as i get further down the line, ive got it written in big red letters the deadline they are meant to reply by and the date i sent my letter on my calender so lets wait and see what kind of reply i get if any !!!

thanks again

Just keep reading around the forums so that you will be confident for whatever tricks they have up their sleeves ;-)

It really is quite a simple process providing you have done your research on here and if you do come accross any problems that you are unsure of then there are lots of people to help you out :-)

Hi k13 njc.

Including this one, there are now 18 posts on this thread.

As this is a "Hello, I'm a Newbie" forum, you might get better results and information by opening your own thread in the Lloyds/TSB forum, where your posts will be seen by other users in the same position as yourself.

The majority of users reading this forum are newbies, and perhaps not ideally placed to offer you the advice you want.

Good luck with your claim.
