A friend of mine has just buried her father and lloyds are chasing his £5000 credit card debt. What are they allowed to do and what can they not do...

 

There are no assets? does the debt die with the person?????

Only direct action by the masses will work....

 

Look at all successes they have never come from negotiation!!!

If there is no estate to pay off creditors then the creditor cannot chase this debt as the person who was responsible is no longer with us.

 

Your friend needs to send a copy of the death certificate to Lloyds and inform them that there are no assets
