Hi All,

Just thought I'd add my case in case it could help someone else.

Sent letter requesting statements for current account with £10 cheque on 18/07/06.

Recieved letter acknowleding on 24/07/06 saying they will send statements within 40 days. I gave them a couple of calls over the next few weeks and everyone I spoke to gave the impression it would take exactly 40 days - seems like they are planning to take as long as possible.

29/08/06 - received big envelope from bank - hooray! Alas no. They have sent all previous statements for my CREDIT CARD account . Have phoned today and complained and am waiting call back.

Had a look through my credit card statements and have added up appox £500 worth of charges! Just wondered does anyone know if i can claim for both current account and credit card at same time or will it require two seperate actions?

It may be easier if you do it as two seperate actions, only because its two different references. It makes no difference you will still get there in the end.

Have sent two requests - one for current account approx £1000 and one on the credit card for approx £700 (! didnt realise i had been fleeced so much over the years!!)

Fingers crossed for a prompt response from the coop:smile:
