Hello,

Unfortunately, I have just had to default on 6 payday loans due to change in circumstances. My debit card has been stopped and I have sent holding request to the companies requesting no charges or fees for 30 days whilst I put a repayment plan together. The calls were non stop Mon and Tues at work and on my mobile.

Some hav come back to me saying that they will not deal with a DMP but would accept a payment offer although not sure if they will ask for huge amount.

Any advice on how to proceed and next steps are appreciated. Please help.

Thanks

when making a payment make sure its a postal order or a payment into their bank account... set up a payment plan with QQ offered 137 a month(3 months in total) they said yes(foolishly i gave them card details of another account) instead of taking 1 payment of 137 they took the full whack of 411. so much for my phone discussion and emails....bloody pirates! dont trust them!!!!!:???: as for wonga stay well away, very rude and so unprofessional i couldnt believe my f'ing ears what they were saying.....

Thanks for the info.

Early Payday - EPDL just wrote and advised that they will add 25% default interest and that if passed to a debt collection co it will be 27%.

Please can anyone help that has had dealings with these guys in the past?

Any info is much appreciated.

add 25% as a default charge....bloody hell..ok if you only owe them 50notes! i would pay off the original loan with the initial interest and then maybe try to arrange some form of payment for the excess but i wouldnt pay the full amount. as for the DCA its probably a sister company of theirs?! postal orders or payment into their bank account never give them bank details. most of these companies operate outside of the uk so they can get around many of the uk guidelines....
