Id like to claim bank charges abck from an old CC of mine held by Providian National Bank. I have been told that these turned to Monument? and now belong to Barclays

Can anyone please confirm this and if so can I still claim and who would I write to as Providian no longer exists

Thanks in advance

You do know that there is a 6 year limit to go back to ?

I would run the claim through Barclays if indeed they are the owners now.

In buying up monument they would also have taken on liabilities etc.

I will see what I can turn up and come back to you.

Have a look in the BAG threads after the bank list "other institutions "

I think there are monument claims there.....you can pick up some leads from.

Monument are a part of Barclays, I've just sent off a cca request to them to find the original documentation. As regards the address you should write to you can use the old Customer relations department address on your statements
