Nationwide sent me a hard copy of the banking code (March 2005). Section 5 is about charges.

 

I'm sorry I didn't make myself clear.

 

I meant that there's nothing in there about the level of charges or what the charges are for. Just "standard account running" or similar blurb as I recall from yesterday.

I agree the fact is whether there is information in there (type case small font so you cannot see it) these charges do not represent the amount of work that a bank has to carry out following the return of a DD or similar, my bank pretty much told me I am a silly little girl for not handling my account properly.

Hi all,

 

I didn't even get to the point of taking the Nationwide to court, today they paid £3211.00 back into my account without accepting liability.

 

I would like to thank Dave and all the guys on here who have helped me and my husband through this, you are all stars.

bankfodder can you tell me what happens next i have got to the court stage and paid online to the courts for twi of my three claims wheat happens now i only did this on friday night though so still soon i presume can you tell me or let me know what to expect next thanks Di
