hi louised

remember, this is my opinion and mine only based on experience, and believe me ive been on meny welcome threads.

this acount needs to be put into dispute

the figures do not add up

have you considered doing a voluntry termination on the agreement

you hand the car back and walk away from the agreement

as you have paid more than half, under the cca, you can do this

you have been shafted as usual on the first agreement being transfered to the second

dont get me even going on the insurance racket

it will be no way jose on this

welcome

thanks but no thanks

I FEEL IF YOU TAKE WELCOMES OFFER, IT WILL CANCEL OUT THE PREVIOUSE AND ITS PROTECTION

ill be with you all the way but at the end of the day

ITS YOUR CHOICE

Hi,

Thanks for that.

I am not going to sign anything & will ask for the agreement to see if they have it. I will go for the account in dispute. There is know way that I am going to pay a further £11250, it's too much.

I will let you know what response I get from Welcome tomorrow.

Thanks,

Louis.

What You Need Is A Copy Of The Latest Agreement And An Up To Date Statement

Ask Them And They Will Print It Off If They Have Them

You Are Doing The Right Thing In My Opinion

Dont Let Them Bully You

Welcome Seem To Be Giving A Lot Of Presure On You To Sign A New Agreement

I Wonder Why

Why Did They Not Give You One,

Do They Infact Have An Agreement On File

Pick Up The Agreement And Statement Of Acount And Tell Them You Will Be In Touch With In Seven Days After You Have Had An Audit On The Agreement

Dont Let Them Bully You

OK I will do that.

It seems though that the deal they have offered is only there for a limited period, again they have stated that only two people in a set time period can receive these kind of offers. I think they are desperate for me to sign.

I will keep you updated.

Thanks,

Louis

Hi,

Just had Welcome on the phone. I now have two options. The first is to pay £96 per month over 10 years or VT & pay £2000 + insurance & anything else they think to add on. I also have to pay £100 up front to keep the account from going into default by Wednesday. If not they will look to repo! Didn't think they could do that because I have paid a least a third of the payments?

i take it this is the local branch doing all this

its all crap, believe me

they cant repo with out a court order, no matter what they say

go into the branch and tell them to give you there and then a copy of your agreement

if they give you any bs

tell them they are now in default of your cca request and you will legally with hold payments until they comply and that welcome are prohibited from defaulting the account while the cca request is outstanding

£ 96 per month for ten years ? On a car loan ? Surely that cannot be legal ? How many ten year old cars are worth more than next to nothing ? Sounds like Welcome are trying to scare you into signing a new contract at whatever cost !!

Hi,

They told me they would send the cca out by post by Wednesday. I asked them to post out the information regarding the VT. Now they are saying it will be two weeks & why would I want a copy of the agreement.

I am unsure whether to pay the £100 by Wednesday or wait until they have sent out the agreement?

Hi,

Update from Welcome.

They rang this morning wanting £100 but I wasn't willing to pay because they haven't yet sent out the requested agreement. The guy I have been talking to suddendly became Mr nasty! Told me they would repo the car. When I said they had to get a court order he told me that would be easy because I was refusing to pay. I wondered if I sent them £20 & told them that the revised contract they were offering was way too much if this would prevent court action?

Could I also put the account into dispute based on the terms they are offering?

Thanks,

Louis

they cant do court action

this is a local welcome muppett not getting his commission

welcome get a court order to do a repo

well that would be a first

your defence would blow them out of the water

pay them nothing

account is now in dispute untill the comply with your cca request end of

they cant do any enforcement action including court/charges/default etc etc

while in dispute

its written in the cca

Hi,

Received letter from Welcome this morning & it reads:

Regulated multiple agreement:

Following the termination of the above agreement, I am writing to inform you of your liability:

Half the total amount repayable under the agreement: £6,043.03

Optional insurance: 0.00

Rebate for cancellation: 0.00

Apportioned interest: 0.00

Payments received: £637

Seperate agreement liabilities: £5,405

Arrears: £ 772.33

Combined liability: 5,405.28

So I have to pay £5,405.28 + give the car back.

What I don't understand is I have paid off £3,700 not £637 & only missed 1 payment of £221.

Any ideas of what they are on about?

Louis

Welcome Are Realy Starting To Annoy Me

This Is A Pure Fabrication

Did That Come From The Welcome Local Office Or Nottingham

This Is A Multiple Agreement For A Start And You Cancelled The Insurance With The Re-write

So Why Have They Listed Seperate Agreement Liabilities, There Are None

You Are Doing A Vt On The Car

They Are Not Allowed To Include The Insurance,

Even So, They State No Insurance Rebate Or Interest.

Common Get Out From Welcome

Early Cancelation Charge

Ok, Where Does It State That In The T&c Or On The Agreement

Combined Liability

Get Stuffed

Can You Pm Me The Re-write Agreement Again Please To Confirm

You Have No Wories On This Response From Welcome

Ime Going To Take Great Pleasure In Turning The Screw On This One

When This Is Over I Would Send An Official Complaint To The Oft And Fos
