Barclays Bank has arbitrarily closed a customer's current account called a feeder account and opened another feeder current account from which many charges are associated. The current account in premier account was closed without instruction or advise from the customer. More than one year in correspondence with Barclays instructing it not to open another account. [EDIT] The head of African desk insisted on opening another account. Moreover, moved the deposit from premier to corporate. Attempt to have the closed account reinstated has proved futile. There is no reason for the transfer of personal accounts to corporate account and over £200 for opening the unauthorised corporate current account and other quarterly charges.

The [EDIT] reasoning employed [EDIT] in opening the account is the pretext of updating the redords and using the information and mandate to open the new account.

[EDIT]

Could anyone suggest ways of forcing Barclays Bank to reinstate the customer's original current account. Barclays bank appears to be messing up customer's lives as all personal accounts have been placed under corporate account.
