you set the timescales not them. if you have given them 14 days, give them 14 days. it is long enough.dont be ruled.

Yep...just do that. You accept money as an interim/part payment and crack on with your LBA. Just stick to the timelines...make sure you've given them 14 days. Just as a matter of interest how much is yr claim for , and is the 480.00 your first or second offer ?

the offer is insulting. provided you still have self confidence, follow your timescales

just had a call from Halifax asking me if I would accept their goodwill offer of £480.00 but I explained that I hadn't turned it down as I had stated in my letter I sent them on the 22nd July I will accept it as a part payment ,the lady sounded really nervous and said they won't pay all the charges back so I informed her I had a claim filed with the county court which was issued today .!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Put 8% in both boxes, and make sure that the Date of Service and Date of Payment boxes both have '=TODAY()' (without quotes) in them. When you file your Moneyclaim change the Date of Service to the date your filed to keep that part frozen.

Having looked at your sheet there's also an error in the way that you've entered interest on charges. They should be entered from the top down with no gaps - don't try to align them with the dates on the left side. Looking at the spreadsheet as it stands, I think you would be better off downloading a clean version and copying your data (turquiose fields only) into it (or re-entering it all). There seems to be a number of other errors in the sheet, probably caused by copy & paste or deletes.
