Hi I can't find Swift Credit Services Ltd as being registered as certificated bailiffs but they left an enforcement notice at my parents address yesterday i owed £227.50 for an unpaid motoring offence and they have added £195 attendance fee to my parents even though they were told in June that i was of fixed abode and using parents as postal address only ..can they do this..are they registered...and they told my mother that she has to be able to produce receipts for all items in her house even thouigh its not her debt. they have her they would be coming back in 24hrs which is at 1.55 today. i did ring them yestersday to explain that i would be getting paid on Friday and could i pay them half then and half at the end of October they refused this offer and say it has to be paid today...we thats my mother and myself have sent a number of emails asking them for a breakdown of how my debt is now £442.50 ANY HELP OR SUGGESTUONS PLEASE

Sorry if this has been asked already but after a quick scan I can't see my question..........

So, how reliable is the register? I am dealing with a bailiff currently and have searched the register and he is not listed. He is acting to recover council tax (explained in my thread) so reading the stuff on here I understand that he must be certificated to collect council tax? I searched his name on google and found out he has received an award from his company, so I find it hard to believe that he is not certificated, as surely the company would not allow him to continue as this isn't allowed???yet there are no records of him on this register? I searched by his name and nothing, I also searched the company for a list of their certificated bailiffs and he is not listed. How can I check, and is this register a reliable source of information?

Many thanks :)

Equita, but the number you guys provided they called me back and verified his licence expired in Dec 11, but was renewed 3rd Jan 12 they just hadn't updated their system.

He's certificate was issued from staffordshire courts . Must of been why Birmingham county courts couldn't find him on their system. The guy is awful, i offered him a payment today and he laughed at me and told me no chance stuck on what to do
