Hi. I had an account with Amex many years ago which I defaulted on. Two to three years ago I was contacted by Buchanan Clark and Wells to say they were acting on behalf of Arrow Global in respect of my Amex debts. I made an arrangement to pay £15 per week by standing order and I have stuck to that for at least 2 years (thats as far back as my online bank statements go) without missing a single payment.

I got a copy of my credit report today from Equifax which shows Arrow Global recorded a default in August 2004. Nothing has been recorded since then - none of the payments I have been making to BCW show up which makes it look like I have paid nothing on account. In reality I've paid about £2000 since then.

Can someone please advise me where I stand on this?

Cheers

hehe typical BCW, pocket the money prob got sold the debt for peanuts too!

looks like you might have to sar both of them.

dx

please don't hit Quote...just type we know what we said earlier..

DCA's view debtors as suckers, marks and mugs

NO DCA has ANY legal powers whatsoever on ANY debt no matter what it's Type

and they

are NOT and can NEVER  be BAILIFFS. even if a debt has been to court..

If everyone stopped blindly paying DCA's Tomorrow, their industry would collapse overnight...
